General Practice of Law

William (“Bill”) Terry Tschirhart, Jr., is a sixth-generation native of Castroville, Texas. Bill’s great great great grandfather, Nicholas Tschirhart, was among the first pioneer-settlers who immigrated from Alsace-Lorraine, France, in 1844, and founded the town, pursuant to a land grant secured by empressario Henri Castro, from President Sam Houston of the Republic of Texas.
Bill was born and raised in Castroville, and after graduating from his local high school (Medina Valley) in 1985, he attended Trinity University in San Antonio, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance; he entered St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1989, and received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s in 1992. Thereafter, Bill opened his own law office, and established himself as a sole practitioner of law in San Antonio (Bexar County), Texas, for the next four years. In 1996, Bill relocated his law office to his home town of Castroville (Medina County), Texas, where he has been serving the legal needs of the Castroville community ever since.
In his general practice of law, Bill has earned a good reputation in the business community; his concentrated areas of practice include estate planning, probate, and real estate law. The value he brings to his clientele is his experience, personal counsel, attention to detail, and strong commitment to perform to the satisfaction of his clients.
